Bear Bell

These are well made and very cute. They looked a lot bigger online than in person. I doubt very seriously that even the biggest one that’s not very big could even begin to scare off a bear. As a matter of fact the people in Yellowstone say they don’t work at all because the bears are used to hearing them and to quote one person “it’s a call to dinner for them”! They aren’t loud, it’s more like a light little clang. But! We aren’t sending them back because they are so cute and they didn’t cost much money.

Because my nieces and other members of my family live in an area occasionally visited by bears, I thought these gifts of bear bells would be helpful for safety. They can easily be placed on shoes, backpacks, bikes, etc. when walking , hiking or riding bikes thru wooded areas. The tone and sound of the bells are great---and a practical gift for children and adults . Another wonderful and helpful idea fro Bevin Bells !
