Garden Bell
Garden Bell
Our Garden Bell is designed to be used in many ways. Hang it by your front door as the most beautiful doorbell you’ll ever hear; post it on the back deck to call the kids for dinner or announce the start of your BBQ; attach it to a gate so you know every time it swings open; or use it to call your horses in for their meal. Shopkeepers will love it for their store doors. The sound of this bell is one of the most beautiful that we make. Fashioned after the ice cream bells we created for Good Humor Ice Cream Trucks, this beauty has three clappers inside each of the three gongs. Every time you pull the chain or shut the garden gate, you hear the melodious sound of nine clappers.

These are smaller than I pictured in my head based on the pictures. My bad as I did not really look at the dimensions. But they are beautiful in all senses. Thank you, Pax!

This was a gift to our son and daughter in law for their 1890’s Victorian home. It was a success, they loved it and knew immediately where and how it will be used.

At some point in the life of our 50-year-old townhome, someone removed the transformer that operates the doorbell, leaving us with a chime and push button but no way to operate it. Our handyman said it would be destructive and cost-prohibitive to wire in a new transformer, and suggested a wireless doorbell. After reviewing all the available models, which were cheap and charmless, we decided to go with this lovely bell. It adds a bit of whimsy to our front entry and makes a delightful sound loud enough to hear inside.

When it’s time for my guests to leave my home, i ring the bells. Music to my ears

We use this outside to call our animals in for food. Something we were worried about was wind, but it has not made sound in even the windiest days so far. It is also a wonderful sound, although oddly it is also very similar to some people's phones ring tones. We wonder if this bell was sampled for that.
